About Ufumene Game Lodge
Ufumene measures 8000 hectares. It straddles both sides of a valley in the mountains that separate the wet coastal plains of the Eastern Cape from the arid Karoo. Its flood plains are 300 m above sea level, the high plateaus rise to 500 m.

Lodge life mostly happens on the large covered veranda, furnished with sofas, chairs and tables, and a summer kitchen and dining area. A refreshing swim in the pool is only a few steps away.
On cold days, life moves indoors to the open plan hall that includes a kitchen, dining room and lounge with an open fireplace. The bar area has a pool table that can be used by guests to battle out their strengths
We offer our guests a choice of cuisines. Besides a good venison braai and other hearty dishes from South Africa, France and Italy
