About Bergrivier Eco Retreat
We have four chalets with spectacular views over the hills and valleys. All our chalets are fully equipped for self-catering. Linen and towels are provided. Every chalet has a BBQ area. Wood is available. You only have to bring your clothes, food and drinks
The rondavel (Naguiltjie) is designed as a bed-sitter with one double bed.
The log cabin (Wielewaal), is a cosy chalet with a stunning view of the valley. This chalet sleeps four. It has a main bedroom with a double bed and a loft with two single beds.
The stone chalet (Kroonarend) is a great family chalet that sleeps six people. It has a main bedroom with a double bed, and a second bedroom with two single beds. Two additional beds in the living room can also be used.
The cottage (Swaeltjie) has two single beds in the main bedroom, (for couples they are put together to form a kingsized bed) There is a bunk bed in the lounge/kitchen. Can sleep four people.

The unit has a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet as well as bathroom amenities. It also features air-conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities, a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, patio, sitting area and Wi-Fi.
Kroonarend
Unit features air-conditioning,coffee/tea making facilities,fireplace,kitchenette,microwave,refrigerator,sitting area.2 Bedrooms with double and 2 singles,2 sofa beds in the living room.Outside bathroom with separate bath&shower, inside shower only,patio.
Wielewaal
The unit features air-conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities, kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, sitting area, bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.
Swaeltjie
The unit features air-conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities, kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, sitting area, bunk bed in the living room, bathroom with shower, basin, toilet, patio and sitting area.
Geelhout Ox Wagon 3
The Geelhout wagon has a double bed, with an adjoining cabin providing a bunk bed. The adjoining cabin has a toilet and hand basin, however, you need to bring your own linen and towels. There is an outdoor shower and catering area in the Lapa.
Kiepersol Ox Wagon 1
Kiepersol and Olienhout are our latest additions to Bergrivier. They are converted ox-wagons, each with a deck, bathroom with exquisite views, and catering area in the Lapa. There is a double bed to accommodate 2 guests.
