About The Outpost Dullstroom
The Outpost is a warm and welcoming self-catering guest farm set in the tranquil surroundings of lush Dullstroom and strives to make your experience as comfortable as possible. We are situated about 15 km outside Dullstroom on the Machadodorp gravel road which is maintained on a regular basis and accessible for any sedan car.
Accommodation Options
Feathers
Feathers overlooks the beautiful old stables of the farm. The unit has one bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. The living area is equipped with a fireplace, TV and a dining table. Feathers also has a fully equipped kitchen.
Die Stal
Die Stal is a great family unit and consists of two bedrooms, of which one room has a double bed and one single bed, suitable for a child, and one room has two single beds. The unit has one shared bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor braai.
Fishermans
Fisherman’s is a cosy cottage situated on the edge of a Wattle tree forest, overlooking one of our trout dams. The cottage has two bedrooms; one with a double bed and the other with three single beds, sharing a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Dam Huis
The old farm dam was reconstructed into a home we fondly call the Dam Huis. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds. It has a fully equipped kitchen which caters for maximum of 6 people. A bathroom toilet and also a separate shower.
4 Venue units
The Venue’ comprises of 4 dorm rooms with single beds. Each room can sleep a maximum of 6 guests. There is a communal bathroom, kitchen, guest lounge with fireplace, games room with a pool table and braai area.
‘The Venue’ is ideal for groups.
