About The Horse Cottage
Paarl is the centre of wine production in South Africa and an education for anyone interested in wines beyond just drinking. Slent Farms will take you on a tour of the vineyards, where you will be able to sample their home-grown wines and olives as well as put you in touch with surrounding wine farms or tours.
An interesting place to say the least where the baboons eat the grapes, the dogs chase the baboons, and the leopards live up the mountain.
Small pets are welcome. Disabled guests welcome and most importantly, we would like your young children to come and savour an educational holiday with us learning about farming, playing among the vineyards, picking olives, learning how olive oil is made and picking their own fruit from the pear trees.
