The Gables

The Gables-Clarens offers luxury accommodation in the heart of the scenic town of Clarens in the Eastern Free State.

The property offers a beautiful garden with gorgeous views of the Maluti Mountain Range. It has a sparkling salt water pool as well as inside and outside braai and entertainment areas. For those cold winter evenings, the property has a fireplace with a complementary bag of wood being provided in winter months.

The lounge area is spacious and comfortable with a large SMART TV which includes full Netflix. Own sign on is required for DSTV. This is made possible by the comfort of super-fast WIFI with good reception throughout the house as well as the pool area.

The property features a comfortable dining room area where guests can enjoy their meals and also further seating at the kitchen nook area.

The kitchen is fully equipped to provide all the required amenities for guests who prefer to do their own cooking and is ideal for self-catering needs. A dishwasher and tablets are provided for convenience. Complementary tea, coffee, sweetener, sugar, mineral water, biscuits and milk are also provided at the start of each stay.

Location wise, The Gables is perfect! It is a mere 100 metres from the town centre and the nearest restaurant is only 50 metres away. This provides guests with the comfort of parking their vehicles in the secure gated parking area and exploring the beautiful town by foot.

The guests rooms are beautifully decorated with plush bedding which is warm in winter and cool in summer. Electric and additional blankets are provided in winter months, adding extra comfort. Brand new, hotel quality mattresses provide our guests with a super comfortable night’s sleep, leaving them refreshed to enjoy the many activities offered by the town and area.
