This charming sandstone dwelling was built from blocks hewn from the mountain by a "bywoner" in 1929 in order to qualify for the the hand of the farmer's daughter. It retains the character and simplicity of that era while incorporating the comforts of today. Berg cottage is a great base to explore Lesotho. From Clarens, Katse dam is only 4hrs away.
