About Boschkloof Self-Catering Cottage

Boschkloof self-catering cottage is a charming example of Cape Vernacular architecture. Once the first house on the farm, this quaint, historic cottage was renovated with care and sensitivity by the Smit family. Every modern convenience necessary for a comfortable stay was added and yet the thick old walls and poplar beams under wooden ceilings speak of times when life had a much slower pace. Set on the farmyard within sight of the 'new' farmstead, it has beautiful views over orchards and the imposing Cederberg mountain range. The cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (master bedroom en suite) and sleeps a maximum of six if the couches in the lounge are also used. The air-conditioned open-plan living space comprises of the lounge with fireplace and TV, a very well equipped kitchen and dining room. The generous front stoep, sparkling blue swimming pool next to the cottage and braai facilities provide the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Bed linen and towels are provided. All you bring is your food and drink and enough time to enjoy it all!
