About Inkosana Lodge and Backpackers
INKOSANA Berg Lodge is an excellent base from where to explore the majestic Drakensberg. The Lodge is surrounded with beautiful indigenous gardens against the backdrop of some of the highest peaks in South Africa. INKOSANA IS NOT SELF CATERING Dorm style rooms can accommodate solo or budget travellers, family rooms with en - suite bathrooms are available. Traditional South African thatched Rondavels with echo bathrooms, the bathroom is not inside the room but attached to the room and for private use only and en-suite Rondavels. The more upscale rondavels comes with its own coffee station The lodge has braai facilities . Light meals and drinks are available during the day and a special set dinner. alcohol is aloud on premises if corkage has been paid ,bar is also available. Echo pool is available .(note fish are in pool)No noise are allowed after 10pm at night. We are not self catering We do not have storage for food or drinks
The World famous Drakensberg Boys Choir is 3 km's from the Lodge. Monks Cowl Nature Reserve is 7 km's from the Lodge, this is a starting point to some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Drakensberg.
