Perched high in the Monk’s Cowl Reserve is Ikhayalamafu Mountain Hideaway and Private Nature Reserve, a secluded getaway in the Champagne Valley, just minutes away from the Ukhahlamba/Drakensberg World Heritage Site, the majestic Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle. The accommodation features two private secluded cabins, namely Inyoka cabin, which is nestled within the forest, and Ingwe cabin that boasts picturesque views of the Little Berg. Each cabin features a large bedroom/lounge with a fireplace, an en-suite bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a private, covered deck with a barbecue and furniture for outside dining. Guests are free to explore over 95 hectares of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and indigenous forests.
