Executive Rooms
Located a short drive from the small town of Winterton, our accommodation includes four spacious and comfortable Executive Rooms. Sleep soundly in the king size bed, relax in the room’s mini lounge area with DStv and uncapped Wi-Fi. Presidential Suite
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Champagne Castle, Monk’s Cowl, and Cathkin Peak from the luxurious comfort of our Presidential Suite. A private terrace area is the perfect spot to soak in the views, while the spacious bedroom has a king-size bed that promises a great night’s sleep. Lakeview Restaurant
The Lakeview Restaurant at the Drakensberg Sun Resort near Winterton serves traditional, home-style buffet breakfasts and dinners. Our chefs are on hand at live cooking stations, to prepare a fresh omelette of your choice for breakfast, and again in the evenings, to prepare a selection of freshly-caught local trout which is then grilled to your liking. Alternatively restaurant guests are welcome to choose from our delectable roasts, along with a selection of delicious sides and desserts. Breakfasts are available from 7:00 to 10:30, and dinners from 18:00 to 22:00. We also offer group bookings for those wishing to plan a private dining event in the Central Drakensberg. Whether a business luncheon, a relaxed dinner, or a celebratory event, our aim is to make every meal a memorable occasion. For light snacking, or simply a refreshing beverage, guests are welcome to relax on our Lakeview Terrace, open from 11:00 to 17:00, with an uninterrupted view of the soaring Drakensberg Mountains
