We wished we had three stomachs!!!! The Christmas Day dinner was one of the best we have ever had. Hats off the the chefs who worked so hard. We have been going to Cathedral Peak over the years since our honeymoon in 1974 and it has NEVER let us down. Well done."

"My husband and I recently spent a Restful few days at Cathedral Peak in the Berg to recharge our batteries. Having visited a number of other places in the Berg we were very pleasantly surprised at the accommodation, the food and of course blown away by the views which I think must be the most spectacular in the Berg. We loved every moment, even though I had hoped for some snow on the mountain, the spectacular views more than made up for the fact that the weather didn''t co-operate! We were looking for something that would rest our souls and still give us the opportunity to experience fine dining, restful sherries by the fires and lovely long walks (and Doreen Falls was a wonderful hike, well worth the visit). We want to return but with children and grandchildren as we found there was something for everyone, of all ages."

These spacious and comfortable rooms are ideally situated in the beautiful hotel gardens with views of the surrounding foothills.
They accommodate 2 adults comfortably but a 3rd adult/ child can also be accommodated however this limits space.
Each room offers a king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, complimentary in-room amenities, TV, phone,
fan, heater, tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge (stocked on request) and a private veranda with views.
Standard Interleading Room
4 Adults | 2 King-sized Beds / Twin Beds
These spacious and comfortable rooms are ideally situated in the beautiful hotel gardens with views of the surrounding
foothills. They accommodate up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Each standard interleading offers two comfortable rooms with either king-sized or twin beds separated by a glass
cottage-pane sliding door and curtain. The first room offers an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, complimentary
in-room amenities, tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge (stocked on request). The second room leads out
onto a private veranda with views. Both rooms have a TV, phone, fan, and heater.

These open-plan thatched rooms are ideally situated in the beautiful hotel gardens with views of the surrounding foothills.
They can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Each room offers a king-sized bed, sleeper couch, en-suite bathroom with shower in the bath, complimentary in-room
amenities, TV, phone, fan, heater, tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge (stocked on request) and a private veranda
with views.
Superior Room

These elegant rooms are ideally situated in the beautiful hotel gardens with views of the surrounding foothills and can
accommodate up to 2 adults. Adjacent rooms have an interleading door for family requirements.
Each room offers a king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, complimentary in-room amenities, dressing
room and sitting area, TV, phone, fan, underfloor heating during winter months, tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge
(stocked on request) and a private veranda with views.
Executive / Honeymoon Suite
2 Adults | 1 King-sized Bed / Twin Beds
These well-appointed thatched executive / honeymoon suites are set apart from the rest of the hotel in tranquil, secluded
gardens facing the Drakensberg mountains. Each suite has been re-furbished to enhance its appeal and create a luxurious,
intimate ambiance.
Each suite boasts a king-sized bed, spacious en-suite bathroom with shower and Victorian slipper bath, complimentary
in-room amenities, lounge area, TV, phone, fan, electric fireplace, underfloor heating, tea and coffee-making facilities,
stocked mini-bar fridge and a private veranda with loungers and breathtaking mountain views.
Children cannot be accommodated in these suites.
Presidential Suite
2 Adults | 1 King-sized Bed | No children permitted
The exclusive Mponjwane Presidential Suite offers the ultimate in luxury accommodation set apart from the rest of the hotel
in tranquil, secluded gardens facing the Drakensberg mountains.
This suite boasts a king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with spa bath and shower/ steam room, complimentary in-room
amenities, lounge, dressing area, two televisions with full DSTV, gas fireplace, underfloor heating, air conditioning, tea and
coffee-making facilities and electric curtains opening onto a private veranda with spectacular mountain views.
Guests are provided with a golf cart for their exclusive use for the duration of their stay.

Dress code: Smart Casual (no shorts in the Dining Room after 6:30pm)
*Breakfast – 7am to 10am | Lunch – 12pm to 2pm | Dinner – 6:30pm to 9:30pm
The Terrace Menu is available from 10am to 4pm at own cost.
Children may eat in the Adult’s Dining Room; however, in consideration to other guests, we ask that
you please dine with your children between 6:30pm and 8pm. Please ensure that your children
leave the Dining Room by 8pm.
Tea Times
Mid-morning & afternoon tea is served on the Terrace twice daily.
10:30am to 11:30am & 3:30pm to 4:30pm
