About Somersby Guest House
Somersby Guest House offers three well-appointed contemporary rooms, all with private balconies to enjoy the views. Each room has a modern en-suite shower room. Start each morning with a tasty full English or Continental breakfast served on the terrace. Then explore the many attractions of the Cape. Before you venture out for the evening, enjoy sundowners on your balcony and watch the kaleidoscope of colours on the mountains as the sun sets.
Somersby Guest House was a dream born of many a wonderful holiday in Hout Bay. The name Somersby means 'Summer Village' which we feel is a place you would head to for a long relaxing holiday. Keeping in this spirit we have named our rooms to reflect the holiday feeling.
Peaceful Retreat is a spacious and very relaxing room decorated with a kaleidoscope of teals, gold and a hint of pink.
Journeys End is a spacious room decorated with geometric shapes and a splash of purple and magenta.
Permanent Vacation is a spacious room decorated in an array of bold reds, greens and browns.
We have kept the guest house simple but tried to incorporate all the essential things to make your stay comfortable and hassle free.
Your hostess, Sandra, is qualified in Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and EFT and has run her own practice successfully in the UK for 13 years.
Somersby is a child-free guest house. We also operate a non-smoking policy in the house but a smoking area is available.
