About Sandown Lodge
We are located in the suburb of Rondebosch, 9 km from Cape Town city centre. IGuests have the option of being accommodated on a Bed and Breakfast basis or on a self- catering basis. It is well known as the leafy suburb of Cape Town with lovely old tress and beautiful views of Table Mountain. The University of Cape Town, Newlands Rugby and Cricket Stadiums, Cavendish Square Shopping Centre and Western Province Cricket Club are all within 3 km from us. Breakfast is served daily and there are four restaurants within easy walking distance from the Lodge. All the guest suites have private entrances with secure off street parking, free WiFi and digital TV. Guests can relax in the lovely English garden, and take refuge from the sun in the shade of the 180 year old oak tree.

Self-catering Suite
This well-appointed, light & spacious suite comprises a comfortable queen size bed and large en suite bathroom with a Victorian bath and walk in shower. The lounge/study has glass doors that open up onto the garden and outside entertainment area.
Family Suite
The family suite consists of two bedrooms, an en suite bathroom, kitchenette and dining area. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has one or two single beds. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with DSTV, cupboards and a desk.
Upstairs Suite
The spacious upstairs suite is beautifully furnished with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with a walk in shower. There is a comfortable lounge/desk/dining area and small kitchenette. The suite is accessible via a staircase overlooking our garden.
Upstairs Room
The newly renovated upstairs room has a double bed and spacious bathroom with bath and shower. The room has its own separate entrance, accessible via a staircase overlooking our garden.There is a flat screen TV with DSTV, Wifi access and a desk.
