About Onyx on Sycamore
Onyx on Sycamore is probably the best home-stay accommodation near Cape Town International Airport, and centrally located between Bellville and Stellenbosch. Although 32 km from Cape Town City Centre, it offers the best value for money in the City of Cape Town. The home-stay can accommodate up to six guests, four in the guest suite with two en-suite bedrooms and a private kitchen and lounge, and two in the guest bedroom with a shared bathroom.
Cereal, tea, and coffee are available free of charge. Guests, however, have the option to order in or make their own meals (self-catering) in the fully-equipped kitchen. The idea is for the guests to always feel at home and eat what they would normally eat, or would love to eat, at mealtimes.
Accommodation Options
Deluxe King Room
This deluxe room with a spacious bathroom is the most loved and most popular among guests at the establishment. It has a TV with DStv and Netflix for in-suite entertainment and guests will share the fully-equipped kitchen and lounge with other guests.
Small Double Room with Private Bathroom
This room is ideally suited for one person travelling light, but it can sleep up to 2 people. It is small in size, has DTSV and Neflix and a private bathroom, with toilet, basin and double shower over bath. The adjoining kitchen is shared by all guests.
Double Room with Private Bathroom
This room is suitable for a single person or a couple and has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. It has a TV with DStv and Netflix for in-suite entertainment. Guests share the fully-equipped kitchen and lounge with other guests.
Separate Entrance Queen Room
This is a separate entrance room, furnished with a queen-size bed, microwave oven, and tea and coffee amenities, DSTV and Netflix for en-suite entertainment and free WiFi are also available. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, basin and toilet.
