About Intaba Lodge

Intaba Lodge is in Hout Bay, Cape Town and has sweeping panoramic views across the surrounding mountains bordering Hout Bay. Luxuriant tranquil gardens stretch over 8 500 m², and are filled with many species of indigenous plants and birds. In this unique and serene environment, follow the footpaths past rock formations to a peaceful pond where Koi fish, water lillies and aquatic plants flourish. The charming Victorian Colonial style residence with its spacious verandah which wraps around the entire house faces the rising sun. This is the place to enjoy alfresco breakfasts whilst admiring the view. Intaba offers independence and privacy yet retains the atmosphere of a private home and each room has magnificent views over the valley and mountains. In the hot days of summer, the vast verandah offers a refreshing place to rest body and mind. In the cool days of winter, a cracking fire warmly welcomes the guests in the spacious lounge. Antiques from France and all over the world, paintings, etchings, sculptures, fine books and many more precious souvenirs from a past lifetime of travelling decorate the house. All bedrooms and cottages enjoy beautiful views over the valley and mountains, and include built-in cupboards, safes, tea and coffee trays, hairdryers, ceiling fans, underfloor heating or heaters. The house is equipped with WiFi internet access. After a rewarding day out to Cape Point, the Winelands or elsewhere, enjoy a refreshing swim at the swimming pool, relax in the greenhouse or in the lounge while tasting local wines. Guest feedback about Intaba Lodge

"to the Portfolio Collection : >>> in German language ! heute wollen wir einmal über unser Urlaubsdomizil in Hout Bay, SA, berichten. Dieter & Erika from Munich"
