Houtkapperspoort Mountain Retreat Self Catering Cottages are located at Constantia Nek Cape Town, in the Western Cape South Peninsula of South Africa, and are flanked by the majestic Twelve Apostles and the Constantia Berg mountains. There are 16 charming and elegant Self Catering Cottages which are set in beautifully landscaped gardens, and are a short drive to restaurants and shopping malls of the Southern Suburbs. Constantia and its vineyards are adjacent to the property on the east, and the Cape Peninsula National Park with all its wonderful hiking trails is directly on our northern boundary.
Own transport is essential and most tourist attractions can be reached in a radius of an hour from your cottage with the hustle and bustle of Cape Town city life a half hour drive away. Houtkapperspoort's exclusive Mountain Retreat Self Catering cottages are situated in a rural setting with beautifully landscaped grounds, and an abundance of flowers and indigenous plants creating a haven for animals and many species of birdlife. The popular guinea fowl have been a huge source of amusement to many of our guests when they are joined at their patio in the mornings, prompting them to meet the new day with as much enthusiasm as they do whilst the resident springbok create a most unique photo shoot opportunity to those that have not had the pleasure to view them at close

Cape TownThe popular Houtkapperspoort Mountain Retreat cottages are cosy and intimate and ideal for the romantic at heart. The units ranging in size from One to Three Bedrooms and are serviced daily. For your comfort, each cottage has hand held remote controlled air-conditioning units for summer, some have under floor heating, and other cottages a jet master in the lounge for winter. The Hotel Bouquet satellite channels have been specifically chosen to satisfy everyone's interests. For those evenings you prefer to stay in and relax, contact reception for more information on the DVD's for hire.
The One and Two Bedroom cottages are single or double storey with either one or two bathrooms, and the Three Bedroom cottages are free standing with two or three bathrooms. The resort offers all the usual facilities including tennis court and pool, TV with DSTV (Hotel bouquet), DVD's for hire, free Wi-Fi internet connection at reception, and 24-hour security control.
