Hout Bay Manor hotel is a luxury boutique hotel, developed around a gorgeous restored manor house, originally built on Kronendal Estate in 1871. With its Colonial architecture, the exterior facade and courtyard gives you the feeling of stepping into a romantic bygone era– and then as you walk through the front door you are transported into a delightful fusion of African, European and Asian cultures. The beautifully put together, and sometimes quirky, Afro-European interior decor makes you feel like you are in a contemporary art gallery, and features lots of extra-personal treats like help-yourself liquorice allsorts and marshmallows found in big glass jars in all the hallways.Our guests have the option of dining indoors or in the relaxed outdoors, under shady trees or beside the pool when the weather is good. Beyond providing a breakfast array that gets high praise from our patrons, EAT – the Hout Bay Manor hotel restaurant – offers a wide-ranging, beautifully prepared à la carte menu that includes tapas, light lunches, dinners and an Asian menu

The gourmet restaurant ‘PURE’ is the Hout Bay Manor’s highlight for those wishing to indulge in an evening of gourmet delights; the exquisite service epitomises fine culture. 2007 saw the launch of ‘Pure’ the creation of the Chef whose culinary philosophy is simply – ‘a fusion of purity’. Pure seats 60 guests in style amidst a tranquil palette of creams, whites, marble and fine art. Opening times are: Dinner: 18h30 to 22h30 from Tuesday-Saturdays Lunch: daily All meals are designed exclusively with the finest local ingredients sourced by our Head Chef.
