About Constantia Stables
In the Constantia Valley in Cape Town, surrounded by wine farms, a long winding drive-way leads to a stunning secluded spot of indigenous gardens and beautifully renovated stable buildings. Historical green stable doors open onto an ivy fringed courtyard, which overlooks the pool and a mass of plants spread out beneath two enormous Plane trees in the large grounds. The owners Rick and Lola Bartlett are proudly South African and have operated The Stable as a guest house for the past 18 years. They offer a unique experience in their charming, character filled Constantia accommodation. Each room has its own private entrance and is furnished with Percale bed linen, luxury bath sheets, pool towels, satellite TV, telephone, bath gowns, hairdryers, overhead ceiling fans, bar fridge and assorted teas, coffee and biscuits.
