About Bluebottle Guesthouse

Magnificent sea-views can be enjoyed from all of our rooms. Situated on the slopes of the Table Mountain Range in Muizenberg, Bluebottle guesthouse is just close enough to all conveniences, but just removed enough from the hustle and bustl to unwind and enjoy your holiday.

Our dining area opens out onto the lower balcony, and on still sunny days the breakfast tables are moved out into the fresh mountain air.

A full breakfast is included in our rate and consists of fruit salad, yoghurt, a selection of cereals, a cheese platter, seed loaf, bacon and eggs, mushrooms, tomato, toast, freshly squeezed orange juice and tea or coffee.

Our upper lounge area is a wonderful space to unwind in, and catch up on a bit of reading; there are plenty of books for you to read and satellite television for those nights when you feel like staying in and just lazing about.

The upstairs kitchen is available to our guests for storing food and preparing meals, and our dining table is ideal to gather around for a cosy dinner, a relaxing drink, or even a game of cards.

An honesty bar, well stocked with drinks and snacks, and complimentary tea and coffee is also available for your enjoyment.

Fig Tree Blue
This room is bright and spacious, and beautifully decorated. It has direct access to the upper balcony through glass sliding doors, and stunning sea views. Bed can be king size bed, or 2 singles. A seperate bathroom, exclusively used for this room.
Dotted Blue
Spacious room with beautiful sea views, and direct access through sliding doors to the upper balcony. Large writing desk. This room has a large king size bed, or 2 single beds. En-suite bathroom with shower.
Meadow Blue
Spacious double room with king size bed, or 2 singles. Opens out onto the upper balcony. Beautiful sea and lake views. En-suite bathroom with shower. small seating area in room, with 2 comfortable arm chairs, and small writing desk.
Clover Blue
Victorian Double. This room has beautiful sea views and opens out onto a small private balcony through glass sliding doors. It has a queen size bed, and a day bed, which can be used as a single bed for an additional guests. En-suite bathroom with shower.
Fynbos Blue
Downstairs, beautiful, large room, with doors leading out onto the balcony and lovely sea views. Big comfortable couch and TV in the room. Tea and coffee tray, and en-suite bathroom with shower. Queen size bed.
Lucerne Blue
Downstiars, lovely large room with french doors leading out onto deck with outdoor table and braai area. Partial sea views, and en-suite bathroom. King size bed or 2 singles.
