About Belvedere Folly
Belvedere Folly is a characterful renovated Victorian home in a historic area of Cape Town. It has undergone interesting architectural changes over the past 100 years, with a fanciful Italianate facade being added in the 1020’s. The area is within an interesting walk of the city centre and many local eateries in the Kloof Street restaurant Mecca. The owners are experienced guesthouse hosts and live onboard. There are also 4 friendly daschund dogs.
The house offers 3 bedrooms for guests: all are on the upper floor accessed by a rather grand staircase. 2 of the rooms are en suite while the third has its own private bath a few meters from it’s door. There is a wonderful balcony for use by all guests. It has an expansive view across the city to the bay. Downstairs there is a lounge and dining room as well as a lush courtyard and also a veranda and patio overlooking a small plunge pool and gazebo. Complimentary WiFi and a full breakfast is provided.Bedrooms are all fitted with safety boxes and air conditioning.
Rates range from R1750 to R2150 per night per room in upto August 2020 and R1850 to R2250 thereafter.
