About Paddahoek Cottage
Paddahoek Cottage is an off grid, authentic, comfortable stone cottage located on a quiet country lane in Vermaaklikheid.
Thick stone walls, a high ceiling and a thatch roof keeps the building cool in summer. The lawn area has been fenced, so dogs are allowed, provided they are well behaved and friendly and do not chase or harass wild or domestic animals. Bath and two plate cooking hob are driven by gas. LED Lights and 300L fridge, freezer powered by the sun (no eskom power cuts here).

Guests using the main bedroom must be comfortable in climbing a relatively steep staircase to the loft bedroom.

Single Unit / Whole Cottage
The loft bedroom is suitable for 2 adults who are comfortable with climbing a ladder to the mezzanine. There are two single beds on the ground floor; and a large, covered porch/stoep with braai and a cast-iron stove.
