About Afton Grove Country Retreat
Enjoy country charm and unique hospitality within the tranquil grounds of Afton Grove Country Retreat. Our comfortable 3 star establishment, set within the heart of the Cape Peninsula, offers guests a choice of either bed & breakfast or self-catering accommodation.
Each of our six garden cottage’s (BnB units) comprise of a main room, with a choice of king sized or single beds, an en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, honesty bar, complimentary tea/coffee station, TV and free WiFi connectivity. Each cottage has its own private, shaded patio.
Breakfast, served in the main house, always assures the freshest fare.
Our three self-catering units sleep two to three guests at a time. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchenette along with the same facilities awarded to the garden cottages above.
Ideal for both holidaymakers and business travellers alike, Afton Grove Country Retreat acts as the perfect base for those wishing to explore the Cape’s attractions.
Picturesque Noordhoek offers its guests a wide variety of entertainment. Enjoy leisurely days on the beach, a picnic at a local wine estate or a meal at the widely esteemed farm village. It’s also the perfect place to enjoy sporting activities such as horse riding, fishing or cycling. Cape Town is home to both the world renown Cape Argus Cycle Tour and the Two Oceans Marathon – our establishment is situated directly on both tour routes!
Scenic drives abound from our centralised country haven. The world renowned Chapman’s Peak Drive, with its majestic views and sunsets, is only a few minutes away, as is the sanctuary of Cape Point Nature Reserve.
Alternatively, escape the bustle and enjoy a relaxing day on a comfortable lounger next to our swimming pool with its crisp, clean and refreshing water.
