About Tsakane Safari Camp

Tsakane is situated in the Balule Nature Reserve which is home to Africa’s famed Big 5.The Balule Nature Reserve forms part of the nearly 3,5 million Hectare Greater Kruger Park Conservancy. Tsakane focuses on providing a walking safari experience. Typically the Rangers will encourage you to experience the interaction between species and the importance of ecological diversity, how these ecological systems are managed and hopefully will involve you in the age old art of tracking big game and thrill of approaching big game on foot.

Accommodation is provided in comfortable thatched wooden cabins and thatched safari tents, each sleeping 2 guests. A central entertainment complex includes a reading lounge, dining lapa, an open-air conversation circle with central fireplace and the cozy Phivi Bar. A traditional open-air dinner boma is situated on the outskirts of the camp. A splash pool and thatched lounging area are situated in the small maintained garden.

Bona Thaba
Bona Thaba is a private cabin with it's own personal viewing/ sunning deck. This deck overlooks an active waterhole as well as a view of the Drakensburg mountains. Bona Thaba has a small kitchenette as well as an en-suite with a shower, basin and toilet.
Marula
Marula Cabin is set in an unfenced section of the camp. It has a small private deck where passing animals can be seen, Marula has a double bed and a private bathroom with a large shower, toilet and basin.
Ndlovu
Ndlovu Cabin is a brick cabin built on the unfenced perimeter of the camp. It comprises of a small patio where game viewing can take place of animals passing by. Ndlovu has twin single beds and an en-suite with a shower, basin and toilet.
Impala
Impala Bungalow is set in an unfenced section of the camp. It has a small private deck where passing animals can be seen, Impala has twin single beds and a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.
