About Dungbeetle River Lodge
Addo’s Dungbeetle River Lodge is a four-star guest house located on the bank of the scenic Sundays River, 40-kilometres outside Port Elizabeth, and only 5-kilometres from the Colchester entrance of the world-famous Addo Elephant National Park, the ideal entry point to visit this unique Game Reserve. All the bedrooms are en-suite and equipped with air-conditioning, wall heaters, fans, honesty bars, safes and are tastefully decorated in a unique African safari theme with upmarket modern bathrooms. Facilities available to guests of the lodge include indoor and outdoor dining areas, a bar area, courtyard, guest lounge and a jetty with canoes.

Large King size double bed, (two single beds with special mattress, converts into twin beds on request). Beautiful suite with large modern bathroom with rain shower.
FISH EAGLE SUITE superior suite
Four poster queen size oak bedroom suite. Beautifully appointed spacious suite with open plan modern bathroom with rain shower, separate toilet. River view. Deck over looking river.
LION SUITE
Large king size double bed, (two single beds with special mattress, converts into twin beds on request). Beautiful suite with large modern bathroom with rain shower.
AFRIKA SUITE superior suite
This superior suite private balcony over the river. 4 Elephant posts guard your king size double bed lie back and enjoy the view. His and hers shower, private toilet.
FAMILY SUITE
The family suite: two separate en suites in a wing of their own ground floor, for 4 persons who prefer a sleeping area of their own. Private garden. Priced minimum 3 persons maximum 4 persons
RIVER COTTAGE
3 Modern en-suite bed rooms with private lounge right on the river private deck, braai area and kitchenette. Breakfast at the lodge 100 meters away, breakfast can be excluded @ R90 p.p only by PRIOR ARRANGEMENT.
