About Coral Strand Smart Choice

One of the first hotels in Seychelles, Coral Strand was opened in 1972. The hotel immediately won the hearts of locals and tourists, becoming an integral part of the island life. Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel is located on the North West of Mahe Island, on the famous Beau Vallon beach, which stretches for several kilometers along Beau Vallon Bay. Fine sand, small waves and stunning sunsets make this beach truly special, like no other on the island.

The hotel is a great starting point for exploring Mahe Island and its main attractions: Morne Seychellois National Park, Marine Reserve, Botanical Garden and the capital of Seychelles - Victoria. It takes only 25 minutes by car to get from Seychelles International Airport to the hotel.

Our fine dining restaurant, offers an authentic Indian cuisine served in traditional style as well as a wide selection of vegetarian options. A glass wall separating the dining area from the kitchen allows you to observe the entire cooking process. Dine in air-conditioned comfort, or sit on our outdoor terrace set by the tranquility of the Indian Ocean. The Coral Asia restaurant is located on the upper terrace of the Ocean Deck Bar overlooking the Beau Vallon beach. The freshest seafood, a cozy atmosphere and Indian Ocean so near - everything inviting to taste Japanese cuisine and enjoy the culinary process by the Sushi Chef. Sip Sake with friends as you dine on freshly made gourmet sushi & sashimi marvelling at the glorious vista of the ocean in a relaxed, island-style atmosphere. Servicing breakfasts and dinners, our Island Trader restaurant offers a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean and a relaxed atmosphere in Seychellois style. Ocean Deck Bar
The legendary Ocean Deck is one of the island's first bars. It is located a stone's throw from the ocean. The menu includes popular international dishes such as pasta, pizza, sandwiches and salads.
