About Vingerklip Lodge
Vingerklip Lodge nestles in a valley, near the rock formation from which it derives it's name. The 35m high pillar of sedimentary rock, the Vingerklip, (Finger Rock) is one of the most impressive rock formations in Namibia. It stands proudly above a valley, known as the Ugab terraces, on the way from Swakopmund to the Etosha National Park on the edge of the Damaraland. Unwind and relax at one of the two pools, go for nature walks or spot the animals from your private veranda. At Vingerklip Lodge there are 11 well-appointed, thatched bungalows, each housing two units. 11 of the 22 rooms are suitable for family-style holidays, with loft accommodation for two children. They each have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and an in-room safe. Additionally, there is 1 luxury unit on top of the plateau, for those who love solitude. The lodge has got two restaurants. The main restaurant is at the reception area, the second is on top the plateau (N$100,- per person surcharge - booking essential) . We also offer Bushman painting excursions as well as nature drives (pre-book advisable)
