About Mowani Mountain Camp
Mowani Mountain Camp offers luxury tented accommodation with magnificent desert views. Open air en-suite bathrooms and private decks give you great views of Damaraland and the reliability of nearby Twyfelfontein with its San engravings and paintings is contrasted by the elusive desert adapted elephants.
The Twyfelfontein conservancy has been protecting the southern most roaming ground of the black rhino and elusive desert elephant. Sustainable eco-tourism and community upliftment is of the utmost importance at Mowani. Guides from the local tribes compliment day-time game drives to track mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, klipspringer and if you are fortunate enough... the leopard! The adventurer in me took over at Mowani. Days were filled with game drives, hot air balloon trips over the Aba-Huab Valley, champagne breakfasts and al fresco meals amidst the dusky landscape beneath Mopani trees.

View Rooms
A twin bedded room (can be converted into a King bed), with thatched roofs, and canvas front walls that open up to take in the views. Although the evening breeze keeps the camp cooled at night, there is air-conditioning and free-standing fans.
These rooms have a view across the valley or over a boulder-strewn valley.
Superior View Rooms
These rooms face west with spectacular panoramic views.

Luxury Room
Situated behind large boulders, this west facing room consists of a thatch roof, glass stacking doors, an air conditioned room with king-size bed, ensuite facilities and its own private deck with heated splash pool overlooking the valley below.
Wi-Fi and private dining are available in-room or on the deck.
Being close to the main area, this room is ideal for guests with limited mobility.
Mountain Suite
A private, luxury thatched suite with spectacular wrap-around views.
The lounge offers satellite television and soundbar before leading onto an outdoor deck with spectacular sunset views.
Adjacent to the lounge is a bedroom equipped with king size bed, air-conditioning, ensuite bathroom and a large deck featuring an heated splash pool, sala, bath and shower with uninterrupted views.
Limited Wi-Fi, private dining, stocked minibar and laundry included (for stays of 2 nights or longer).
Rock (Mini) Suite
A completely private, luxury, thatched Rock Suite with heated splash pool, cocooned within the rocks.
The lounge features satellite television and stocked minibar, before leading to an air-conditioned king bedded room and an en-suite open air bathroom tucked into the boulders.
Private dining is available either within the suite or on the outdoor decks which are also cocooned within the rocks. Wi-Fi and laundry service included (for stays of 2 nights or longer).
