About Kramersdorf Guesthouse
Kramersdorf Guesthouse is a privately owned, family-run guesthouse in a quiet, sunny residential neighbourhood in Swakopmund. That personal touch is something our guests come back for.
We're two minutes from the edge of the Namib Desert — perfect for an early-morning walk or an evening sundowner. The city centre is a 15-minute walk away, the beach five minutes beyond that.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with extra-long beds, en-suite bathrooms, in-room safes, and tea and coffee stations. Free, reliable Wi-Fi throughout. Our courtyard garden, shaded by a large palm tree, is a lovely place to sit and unwind.
A generous breakfast is included with every stay, along with safe, private parking at no extra charge. Families are warmly welcomed — our spacious family suites suit children of all ages, and cots are available on request.
Swakopmund is a destination worth taking your time over. Deep German heritage, extraordinary desert landscapes, and a remarkable range of activities. Two highlights: the Sandwich Harbour tour — a dramatic drive through towering dunes to where the desert meets the Atlantic — and a Catamaran cruise with dolphins, seals, and sea birds. Just ask us.
