Situated on the border of the World Heritage site of the Namib Desert and only 37 kilometers from the gate to Sossusvlei, the Elegant Desert Lodge offers accommodation in 29 tastefully furnished, air conditioned rooms. All en-suite, the stylish and comfortable rooms invite you to recline in the soulful yet liberating atmosphere of the world’s oldest desert.
A beautiful and tranquil garden offering various, innovative seating arrangements inspire an image of an oasis nestled in the Namib Desert. Alternatively, enjoy the vistas of the desert plains from the veranda of your room. We suggest you treat yourself to a casual lunch with a bottle of fine South African Wine, each handpicked by the owners. In the afternoon you can relax in one of our chic lounges in the gardens or at the sparkling pool, or you can participate in the Scenic drive with spectacular views overlooking the Namib Desert.

Comprising of only 10 individual en-suite tents in harmony with nature, this secluded little Eco Camp offers our Guest a world of vast spaces, endless horizons and rugged mountain heights. The utter tranquility and extraordinary clarity of light make this area one of Africa’s most compelling landscapes.
Custom build 85sqm Canvas Tents envelope guests in pure privacy, complete with an outside viewing deck, an indoor and outdoor shower, spacious bathroom and a Mini Bar provided by the Elegant Desert Lodge in the form of a cool box. Our Rock Pool on top of the mountain with a large sun downer deck offers the most exquisite views and scenery.
You have the option of moving your bed out to sleep under the stars. And wake up naturally to the most beautiful scenery! Eyry silence, tranquility, a sense of soulfulness and untouched landscapes make this Eco Camp especially unique! The camp is totally off the grid with its own water and power supplies.

Meals can be enjoyed indoors in the cozy dining area or outdoors in the garden under the stars, depending on guest preference and weather.
The lodge also has a bar and pool bar, perfect for sundowners overlooking the desert landscape after a day of activities.
