Our name, “Ijaba” means “a wish fulfilled”, a fitting description for the experiences that our guests enjoy while they are with us in Buschfeld Park. We offer heartfelt Namibian hospitality and a range of accommodation options amid mountains, indigenous trees and native wildlife just 45 minutes from the Okaukeujo gate of Etosha National Park. Ijaba Lodge is a sustainable, environmentally conscious lodge within easy access of attractions such as the Vingerklip and Ugab Terraces, but you don’t need to go any further than our lodge itself to connect deeply with breathtaking Namibian landscape and the silence of the bush.

Accommodation Options

Double Room
We have 6 Bungalows, 2 Double Bungalows (The Ostrich Room and The Elephant Room). The bungalows all feature woodwork by local artisans using indigenous wood and each of the rooms is an individual, unique space decorated with original paintings and animal themes. All are ensuite and have their own safe, mini-fridge and enjoy the view from the verandah, so you can sit out looking out across the mountains and valleys of Buschfeld Park.
Family Room
We have 6 Bungalows, 4 Family Bungalows (The Cheetah Room, The Oryx Room, The Zebra Room, and The Hippo Room). The bungalows all feature woodwork by local artisans using indigenous wood and each of the rooms is an individual, unique space decorated with original paintings and animal themes. All are ensuite and have their own safe, mini-fridge and enjoy the view from the verandah, so you can sit out looking out across the mountains and valleys of Buschfeld Park.
Campsite
If you prefer camping out under the stars, you can pitch up your own tent, or stay in one of our two fixed tents. Our spacious grassy campsite area is fully equipped with electric power points, lights, braai and bathroom facilities in our “Giraffe-House”. Sit around a campfire with your friends and family and relax while stargazing with the sounds of nature as your soundtrack.

Dining & Cuisine

Restaurant
Experience a true Namibian welcome with delicious food in a homely atmosphere. Our Kudu-Bar & Restaurant is known for warm service and delectable dishes. We serve breakfast lunch and dinner, so you can enjoy home-cooked meals at any time of the day, giving you the freedom to explore the wilderness without worrying about food. Overlooking the pool, our restaurant and bar is the ideal place to sip on a refreshing sundowner before settling in to dine on mouth-watering cuisine lovingly prepared by our talented cook. Choose to sit inside, or dine al fresco under the stars.
