Malyo Wilderness Camp

Mudumu National Park, Namibia

About Malyo Wilderness Camp

Malyo Wilderness Camp nestles on the bank of the Kwando River in one of the permanent channels. Located between permanent water and grass-swept plains, they took pride in their commitment to tread lightly on the Earth, the result is an organic architecture that blends seamlessly with one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Namibia.

They can accommodate 50 guests at the campsite with clean ablution facilities. They allow all types of tents and caravans are also welcome. There are no refrigeration facilities. They supply some light for the showers and toilets, but discourage the use of generators at night.

Lizauli Traditional Village is just north of Malyo and will give you insight into the traditional ways of the Mafwe and Mbukushu people, which this part of the land belongs to. Enjoy traditional musical instruments and dancing, with many mementos to buy from the curio shop.
