Luderitz, Namibia

About Kapps Hotel

Kapps Hotel was erected in April 1907 and renovated and rebuilt in the late 1940's and1960's. Luderitz is an old German coastal town in Namibia. It is noted for its distinctive German atmosphere and Colonial style buildings, reflecting the Art Noveau style of architecture at the turn of the century.

Homely en-suite rooms offer a unique home-away-from-home and the restaurant, Rumours Grill, serves traditional breakfasts and delightful a-la-carte dinners which are influenced by local cuisine and season. You can enjoy a nightcap or some of Namibia's finest brewed beer at the private bar, or, if the weather permits, the Beer Garden is the place to kick off your shoes and relax. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, banks, the post office, and pharmacy.
