Forgotten Valley Ekoto Camp

Perched high above the Forgotten Valley, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and vast open landscapes, lies Ekoto Camp. The camp features six stylish self-catering chalets, each offering breathtaking views of the valley. Equipped with air-conditioning, a private veranda, and a kitchenette, they provide a comfortable and independent stay. Basic food items, fresh produce, and beverages are also available for purchase on-site. A refreshing swimming pool offers relief on hot days. The camp's main area features a spacious communal kitchen where guests can prepare meals together - complete with a shared barbecue area and space to relax under the stars.

Just a short walk from the camp rises the Tufa Mountain - a rare geological formation of porous limestone, created over centuries by mineral-rich springs. Thousands of colorful parrots - the famous Love Birds - have made their nests in its crevices, filling the valley with a lively chorus of chirping wings: the melody of the Forgotten Valley. With a bit of luck, you may also spot the elusive Highland Elephants. A short hike leads to a spectacular viewpoint above the camp. You'll experience Namibia far off the beaten path - authentic, peaceful, and deeply moving. Accessible only by 4x4.
