Canyon Mountain Camp

Situated about 6 km from Canyon Lodge at the foot of picturesque dolerite hills, Canyon Mountain Camp is a real idyll for the self-catering traveller. The building, shaped like a horseshoe, houses 8 en-suite rooms plus a communal kitchen and dining room. The covered grill area is a pleasant meeting place at the end of an eventful day. Hikers also like to spend the night at Mountain Camp before or after their hiking tour through nearby Fish River Canyon. Keys to the camp are to be obtained at the reception of the Canyon Lodge. They can use the swimming pool close to the lodge and are most welcome at the restaurant and bar as well.
