Astra is the home of the Goldbeck family, who have lived and worked on Astra for the last four generations, it is situated in the beautiful central east of Namibia. The farm is an hour’s drive away from the capital Windhoek, and half an hour from the international airport. To provide you with personal service only one booking at a time is taken, either a group, couple or as a single person. Stefan and Silvia Goldbeck will be your hosts and will let you experience their family home and day to day life.

Master Hunting Guide Stefan who is passionate about hunting and nature, will take you along for an adventure through the Namibian savanna. One of Stefan’s greatest trades is patience, so whenever you are ready, he will guide you to your hunting success.

The lodge offers three beautiful generously spacious double rooms en suite; that are all equipped with an extra sleeper couch that is big enough for 2 children or 1 adult, every room also has a mini bar, coffee station, air-condition and a safe.
