Kalakwa, located a mere 40 minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport, offers landscapes ranging from savannah grasslands to bushveld and mountains. These diverse sceneries crowned with spectacular sunsets promise every visitor a taste of Africa at its finest. With hills, mountains, dry rivers and rock formations, every corner of this terrain is filled with life. You never know what to expect on a guided walk. Bird life is spectacular and silence is never quite achieved, as you will either hear jackal calls at night, or birdsong during the day. The landscape scenery at Kalakwa is surreal, especially on sundowner excursions up the hills. This is a true piece of Africa at its finest.

The spacious and luxurious en-suite thatched roof chalets are fully air-conditioned and the interiors breathe comfort and quality. The Rhino Royalé Dining Experience
The exquisite Rhino Royalé is ideally located on Kalakwa Lodge, 115km from Windhoek, or 70km from Hosea Kutako International Airport, offering terrains ranging from savannah grasslands to bushveld and rocky hills. Our luxurious chalets overlook savannah landscape where rhino, leopard and kudu roam. The Rhino Royale is set on one of the most picturesque locations on the reserve and boasts a nine course menu & wine pairing which makes for a sensational, never-before seen experience in Namibia. A minimum of two nights accommodation for 12 persons sharing is required to book exclusively. Groups of up to 36 guests can be accommodated in luxury tents.
