Villa Sands

Villa Sands is a boutique hotel formed from three old warehouses on the unique island town of Ilha de Mozambique. The island was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. Villa Sands is the perfect starting point for exploration of the rich cultural history of the island, and experiencing all the adventures of the Indian Ocean.

There are eight chic double rooms available on the ground floor, each beautifully decorated, and all with comfortable king size beds, A/C, ceiling fan and en suite bathrooms. Located one flight up is the exclusive Rooftop Suite with a further three double rooms and terraces.

The hotel restaurant emphasizes a modern approach to cooking, with the best, freshest local seafood prepared in a variety of ways. Poultry and beef can be grilled to perfection on the outdoor grill, and meals enjoyed both indoors and outdoors. If you choose to, you can enjoy all of your meals at the hotel restaurant, which is open every day for all three meals.
