Faraway Lodge

Located just off the coast of Barra, Faraway Lodge offers a look into the traditional living of the residents of Mozambique. The spacious chalets are made from naturally occurring materials of the environment, providing an authentic yet comfortable experience. The chalets range in size from 2 to 10 sleepers and are fully equipped for self-catering purposes. There is also a tranquil palm-lined campsite that offers shade-providing baraccas for hire with power points. Ablutions with hot water are available. Additional amenities include two large swimming pools, braai facilities, and a seasonal bar that stocks a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The surrounding area offers a range of activities to suit all guest's interests, such as scuba diving, horse riding, canoeing, and fishing.
