Barefoot Lodge and Safaris, run by Louis and Rudolf, specializes in spectacular African travel destinations and accommodation. Barefoot Lodge and Safaris is 100% committed to offering clients the journey of a lifetime.
The Lodge lies toward Mchinji and the Zambian border along the M12, 10kms From Malawi’s Capital city Lilongwe. It is a well sign posted and easily located just 1.8km from the main road. The location is perfect as a starting or ending point for an African safari. It is ideally situated for transfers to and from the Lilongwe International Airport and to Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park, a mere 2 hour drive to the majestic Lake Malawi.
The lodge, one of the best places to stay in Lilongwe, is set in sixteen acres of lush landscaped gardens and boasts five en-suite luxury chalets, two self-catering houses, electrified camping site with clean hot and cold water ablutions, two over lander sites and a large backpacker’s house. All separated to provide our guest with privacy.
Recently upgraded and expanded, is a fully equipped dining area and bar and offers a la carte menu cold beer and wine.

The campsites are well Shaded by large trees and the lawns are lush and green. Each site comes with an electrical point and the ablutions are clean with hot and cold water. Bar and Restaurant facilities on site.

The backpacker's house is clean and comfortable with separate rooms for the ladies and Men as well as separate Bathrooms. There are a large communal lounge and Barbecue facilities outside. Includes a backpackers breakfast.
