Santawani Lodge

Santawani is one of the longest standing camps in the whole Okavango. Chosen as a site when sites were there to be chosen, by the legendary Jon Panos of Gametrackers fame, Santawani proudly continues the tradition of home-grown hospitality.

Set in its own, community-owned concession of NG33, bordering the southern edge of Moremi Game Reserve, Santawani offers traditional day- and night game-drives in this private concession, known far and wide as being especially rewarding for game, and predators in particular. Lion, cheetah, leopard and hyaena abound, as do a host of smaller but no less interesting predators, readily revealed by spotlight when by their natural camouflage they have eluded us by day.
