Horseback Safaris

A horseback safari gives you a unique opportunity to ride with wildlife. Canter over open plains and feel the African breeze whipping through your hair. Get up close to giraffe, zebra, antelope and hippo as the presence of horses allows you to ride freely alongside them. We work with operators who have large herds of free roaming horses that cater for all levels of riders, from highly experienced to complete novice. Most are located in predator-free reserves, so you and your loyal steed can feel completely at ease. We do advise that you do have some basic riding experience for your own comfort, however you can opt for minimal riding interspersed with traditional game drives and bush walks.
