Overview

Idube is located in the world renowned Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park in South Africa. This reserve is known for conservation efforts, particularly in protecting rhino. The reserve is also extending its endeavours to the community on the borders of the Sabi Sands, Mpumalanga, in uplifting and enhancing their conditions, as well as their awareness of the value of the reserve for the future. Idube is proud to be part of these great works. Idube Game Reserve traverses approximately 10 000 hectares of wildlife area and is home to the big 5 animals, as well as a large variety of other interesting flora and fauna. A great draw card for guests is the leopards, which are seen regularly.  The lodge has recently been refurbished and the gazebo was added as a great chill out area for relaxing and enjoying the view on 3 sides.  All bedrooms now have Wi-Fi, as do the entertainment areas.

All feature expansive rooms and decks leading to private pools. Each room has its own well stocked mini bar, baths, inside and refreshing outside showers, hairdryer, safe and Wi-Fi. Guests can request their choice of mini bar drinks. Elephants often come down to drink from the pools.

Minimum age allowed is 8 years old - Minimum age allowed on game drives is 8 years old .1 Child between the ages of  8 - 12 years may share a room with 1 paying adult and are charge a child rate   2x Makubela Suites  - interleading - can be converted into triples for 2 adults & 1 child  - extra single bed put into the room for the child.

Cancellations 0 to 30 days prior to arrival 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations 31 to 60 days prior to arrival 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellations 61 + days prior to arrival 10% cancellation fee.

Standard Season: 08 Jan  - 19 Dec
Cancellations 0 to 30 days prior to arrival 100% cancellation fee.

No-show bookings will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Early departures will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
All cancellation fees are calculated based on total room charge.
Should travel not be possible due to any COVID19 related cause or government restrictions we will allow deferral of travel for 12 months within the corresponding season.

The chalets are all decorated individually and have baths, inside and outside showers, as well as private decks. Wi-Fi is available, rooms have hairdryers and safes. These relaxed rooms offer a safe, cool retreat between activities.
