Overview

Fordoun Hotel and Spa is an award winning five-star luxury boutique hotel and spa located in Nottingham Road.It is a family owned and managed destination with a history dating back to the 1800’s.Fordoun Hotel and Spa features 22 luxurious, comfy individually styled rooms and the relatively new addition self-catering farm village offering 9 fully equipped cottages, a chapel, and a wedding/conference venue. In addition, there is a restaurant, free private parking, free bikes, and an outdoor swimming pool. Among the numerous facilities are a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a beautiful garden. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness centre and room service. With scenic views of the Drakensberg, in a serene country setting, the feeling of romance is almost certain. The charming new Farm Village welcomes families with modern self-contained 2 bedroom cottages around an idyllic village green, perfect for picnics or perhaps an impromptu game of cricket. Each chalet is well equipped with fully fitted kitchen, fireplace, DSTV, DVD player, barbecue and serviced daily.

Accommodation - VAT - Use of heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and flotation pool at the spa.

Excludes

Children of all ages welcome, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the spa from 8am to 7pm while treatments are taking place,children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the dining room after 7pm and dinner is served for children from 5pm to 7pm.

All Seasons:
Cancellations 0 to 21 days prior to arrival 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations 22 to 30 days prior to arrival 75% cancellation fee.
Cancellations 31 to 45 days prior to arrival 50% cancellation fee.

No-show bookings will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Early departures will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
All cancellation fees are calculated based on total room charge.
Should travel not be possible due to any COVID19 related cause or government restrictions we will allow deferral of travel for 12 months within the corresponding season.

Luxury RoomBed and Breakfast

The luxury rooms have a king-size bed, a bathroom with bath and shower, under floor heating in the bathroom and bedrooms, tea-and-coffee making facilities and mini bar area. All rooms have a TV and DVD player.

Offering views of the Drakensberg mountain range, the Superior Suites have a king-size bed, a seating area, TV and DVD player, a fireplace, and a dressing room area. The bathrooms have under floor heating, a bath as well as indoor and outdoor shower. Each suite has a private balcony with loungers.
