Overview

Bushwillow is located near to Hluhluwe on the Elephant Coast, KwaZulu Natal. Set in Kuleni Game Park, which can be explored on self-guided walking trails, guests will spot plenty of wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, and other ‘safe’ game setting the mood for the “Big 5” at Hluhluwe Imfolozi or the Isimangaliso Wetland Park. Or for the less energetic, simply relax on the expansive decks or on hot summer days sit in the plunge-pool and view game that passes by and visits the cunningly hidden small waterhole. Enjoy the magic of the sand forest with abundant birdlife and night-life in the form of bush babies. A nature lover’s haven offering a choice of catered or self-cater accommodation in the bush. Bushwillow Lodge features three chalets linked by wood walkways to the main lodge and pool deck. The bedroom chalets with huge windows offer seamless views of the surrounding bush and are cosily furnished with wood and textured fabrics in rich colours. Honest home-cooked meals served outside on the main deck or inside on the large eucalyptus table. Bushwillow Cottage is a lovingly restored farm rondavel under tall, rare Lebombo-Wattle trees. Self-contained with 2 bedrooms, indoor and outdoor shower, and a spa bath on the outside main deck. Uniquely designed, Bushwillow Boutique comprises 3 contemporary self-contained chalets. Modern and vibrant with stackable doors and glass allowing the bush to seep in and providing an energetic contrast. Each with own private viewing deck and plunge pool. This owner-managed lodge offers a very personal service and hosts its guests to ensure that they have the best bush experience that the area can offer. Game drives, boat rides, diving trips, horse rides, beach trips, animal interactions, spa treatments, bush golf and other activities arranged. All-inclusive packages and specials available.

King or Twin beds, en-suite bathroom with yellow basin and rain shower -The bright yellow sliding wardrobe with full length mirror keeps you smiling! - The kitchen has a 2 ring gas hob, microwave/convection oven, large fridge/freezer, and plenty of pots and pans - The hand-crafted oak dining table and wooden chairs with a yellow twist add to the colourful theme. Outside there is a large and convenient gas braai on the private viewing deck together with outdoor dining table and 2 chairs - And the plunge pool looks so inviting for that early morning dip, lazy day at the chalet on the sun loungers, and on the hot summer evenings for a cooling sundowner.

The red doors and mirrors of the sliding wardrobe lead to the en-suite bathroom with red basin and rain shower.  The kitchen has a 2 ring gas hob, microwave/convection oven, large fridge/freezer, and plenty of pots and pans. The two bedrooms are separated by a vibrant kitchen and eclectic lounge. Stack away folding doors open to the central outside deck with private plunge pool and gas braai. Bedrooms also have their own private deck area, for those quiet moments. A perfect self-catering escape!
