Saiwa Swamp National Park

At only 3 sq kms Saiwa Swamp is the smallest National Park in Kenya and was created in 1974 to protect the Sitatunga Antelope which is adapted to live in swampy environments. There are no roads in the little park but there are miles of paths which you can walk along trying to spot a Sitatnga, one of the 370 bird species or the extremely rare De Brazza Monkey.
