Marsabit National Park

The Marsabit Mountain lies in the middle of a desert wilderness and its waters not only feed its forests but also provide a permanent source of for the animals below it. An amazing mix of forest, crater lakes and dry plains make Marsabit a fascinating reserve to visit. It was here that the magnificent elephant bull Ahmed – the only animal to live under presidential protection – used to roam.
